Though i would say this is fine-tuning of the mod that should happen later on. maybe your 'low poly' far-distance objects just look better that the mid-poly original objects that are loaded when getting closer? then the best fix would be to replace the mid-distance objects by some from you, Grieche, as well.
Not done the tests yet but: maybe Mykillk confused the polys? 'real' full lod object, i guess, is a setting supported by the engine and therefor shouldn't result in any poly-changing effects.
